The discrimination of black people has been a nightmare for so many people over the years, and it is still today. Black people can be yelled at on the streets for no reason, black people can be discriminate for no reason and black people can be killed for no reason, just because they are black. Maya Angelou was born in 1928 in the State of Saint Louis, Missouri. She was a former actress, author, singer and activist who fought for the black peoples human rights. Maya Angelou passed away in 2014, her dead touched many people, and one of them was First Lady Michelle Obama, who held a fantastic, touching and incredible speech to Maya Angelou’s memorial ceremony |
