Skribentens beskrivelse af The TravellerLying is a very bad thing. Some lies more than other. Some lies for good things, some lies to cheat others. In the short story “The Traveller” we see something which relates to lying. It’s written by Ryan O’Neill, and was written in 2013. It was also selected for The Best Australian Short Stories in 2013. In this story, the main character lives by lying for his family. For the most peoples is family a very important thing in their life. There is something wrong with this main character. He lives by lying for his family that he gives donations for an African orphanage, but he just saves all the money for himself. He is very lonely and isolated in the country. |
