Skribentens beskrivelse af ApartheidIn 1948 the national party won the election and introduced the contry to apartheid. Apartheid means "being apart" and the idea was that every race has its own identity. The black was divided into ten tribal groups because the goverment wanted to make South Africa a "white" country. The white goverment had decided that the blacks (70% of the population) could only have 7.5% of the country's land to live on.
