As I see it, jerry and bill have a very boring and identically life. The story is happening in the South America, in a little town I think. I the start the are equal but this longer we are coming in the text, jerry is taking the control and are getting the leader. He is saying yes and no then, Bill just is following. They are never making something exciting. They are bought married. Jerry is not happy with his life, ore marriage. Bill have a boring life a lot like Jerry’s. They are not give expression to hate there life. They are trying to have some fun and find themself with a drive to a bar. They are drinking few cans of bear. In the end of the text they are trying to “make lady’s”... but then jerry acting weird and murdering and maybe rape the two girls, while Bill is watching him. I think that I a reaction of his desperate life, and his marriage is falling apart. The themes in the text: love, friendship, crime, violence, family life(prison |
