Skribentens beskrivelse af Once were WarriorsThe mom (Beth) and dad (Jakey) handle their Maori background very differently, Beth is kind of into it since she wants the whole family to be buried at one location with their ancestors, Jakey on the other hand doesn't really care, all he thinks about is that he was a “slave” back in the time, and now he's free to do absolutely anything he wants to – in his eyes at least the Maori culture went down to be less important for Jakey 1. In what way are they not responsible parents? Describe the parties they have -Well first of all the dad always were out at night, at the pub drinking with his friends these parties normally ended up with the dad telling everyone to come home to his house, and continue the party there instead of them “just” drinking. At these parties they ate food together and drank lots of alcohol, and they sung and screamed with the children trying to sleep upstairs, they fought and smashed bottles, they also had loads of sex at these parties, sometimes in the middle of it. |
