In the music video, there’s a bicycle race with nude women, and that was controversial for that time, so the video has been edited and banned in several countries. Freddy doesn’t want to listen to everyone else he has his own words and freedom in riding the bicycle race (life) we found on a site a more meaning My understanding of this is that is a very simple song crafted when Freddie M was on holiday in France. Apparently a stage of the Tour De France cycle race came through the town past his hotel. He was mocking the encompassing euphoria of the event and the all-consuming passion of the supporters etc overshadowing some of the real issues of the world at the time. |
