Travels Our dream vacation Hey Friends! In April we won a vacation to four of the states, and now we’re in Texas. We have already been in California, and Washington, a week in Cali and five days in Washington. The week in Washington was amazing. One of the first days, we went to a concert at the Wolf Trap National Park. It was so much more different than concerts in Denmark. It was so big and everybody had a good time. It was nice to experience a concert in Washington. The last days, we relaxed on the beach and went shopping a lot of the time. Then we went to California for a week. We wanted to go surfing, so we did it one of the days. We had never tried it before, but it was so much fun, and we would definitely do it again if we got the chance. :) We wanted to watch a basketball game, because it’s a popular sport in the states, like soccer is in Denmark. We bought tickets and went to the game in Staples Center. There was so many people and it was a big experience. Now we’re in Texas, but we’re leaving tomorrow so we can still tell what we have been doing here in Texas the past days. We have heard that Texas is especially known for their country music, and thats right. There was country music in the restaurants and cafés we went to and there was a good mood everywhere. People were dancing on the street and it looked like they had fun. We have already planned what we’re doing in New York. We wanna go to Niagara Falls and The Statue of Liberty. We’re going on a boat called Maid of the Mist, and we can get very close to the Falls. We have heard so much about it, so we’re looking forward to the last week in the states. The people has been really nice and open, so far. They enjoyed hearing about Denmark and what we thought of The States. This was just some of the things we have been doing, but it has been a great trip, and we really want to go back again one day. See you.
