Rufus' liv i tunnelhuset

A young man named Rufus has been living in the tunnel house for 25 years. He has lived there since he was an infant. Rufus is a special person. He was brought into this world and has been by himself since. Or so he thought. One day a elderly woman knocked on the door and wanted to come in. Rufus was polite and welcomed her inside. He offered a cup of tea and asked what he could do for her. She wanted to tell him about his family. The stranger lady was his mother. Rufus was amazed yet still chocked. His mother went on and told him about his father and two older sisters. His dads name was Harold and he is 45 years old. His sisters are 27 and 29 years old and named Anastasia and Rose. His mothers name is Charlotte and she is 43 years old. Charlotte explained why he was left all alone.“Your father worked at a nearby factory and I was here cleaning and cooking like any wife should. Your sisters were left alone to when they were born. A old saying from many years ago says that children from birth shall learn to become independent young adults. We weren’t happy about the thought but we couldn’t do much about it.”Rufus wasn’t sad or upset about it. He was rather fascinated to hear the reason for being alone for all those years. Instead he told about his daily routine and how it has been living in the house. He would wake up everyday at eight o clock except during the weekend that was when he wasn’t tired anymore. Then he would take a shower and get dressed, go out to the kitchen and make some coffee. When he waits on it to be finished he would make eggs sunny side up. While eating he’ll read the newspaper and find out what is going on all around the world. Now it is about time to go to work down in the factory where his father used to work. His shift ends at 2:30pm everyday so when he get’s home he makes a cup of tea and finds some biscuits and relaxes in front of his fireplace he uses sometimes. All of sudden it becomes dinner time so he cooks up something tasty and eats around 6:30pm. He puts on his pajamas and reads a bit after cleaning up after dinner then he goes to bed at 10:00pm so he can be fresh in the morning. His mother sat across the table and looked into his eyes and told him how proud she was. Her little boy grew up into an fantastic adult. Rufus told a funny story that happened a few months ago. His girlfriend wanted to come visit him but he didn’t know she was coming. It was a surprise. She couldn’t find the door and walked around the entire house to find it. Rufus wasn’t home from work so when he got home and saw his girlfriend walking around confused. His mother laughed and said she wanted to meet her one day.From a small round window you could see a mother and son having the time of their life. ‘
