I was really looking forward to something very different and new. I had the maps and my own personal survival kit – lots of chocolate and a drink an, of course, my phone to record my new discoveries.
The day started and so do I. First of all I checked the weather forecast. The sun will shine the whole day in Chicago. I took the last sip of my coffee, and then trashed it. My flight runs in an hour. As I was on my way to check in, Mark blocked my way. Mark was an old friend of mine, and we graduated college together. After all insectary security checks I boarded. I bought some snacks at the duty-free-shop.

I checked the sky for sign of rain and set off early to make the most of the day. I had packed my bag with a few necessities - a bite to eat, a bottle of water and heaps of curiosity about what the day would bring. I’ve waked early; it’s my first day in Chicago. I’ve spent a lot time of traveling, so I am a bit tired.
Today I’ve planned to discover Lake Street. I went shopping for an hour. I stopped at the nearest café, for some food.
