"One Country – Many Faces" Indians: The Indians came in the 19th century from India to work on the sugar farms. Since then, their children have stayed and today they’re South Africans, too. Most Indians live in Durban and they’re either Hindu, Muslim or Christian. They speak only English, but formerly they speak Indians. Also, American Indians is the indigenous people of the area that is now known as the United States. This means the people were living here for thousands, even millions of years, long before it was conquered and settled.
