I have always been very skinny. The first 5 years at school It didn’t bother me, all the boys in my class was skinny to. But ones all the boys started growing, it started to bother me a little. In 8th grade I became the skinniest kid in class. I weight 15kg less than the other guys. My schoolmates started calling me skinny and I got very sad. I totally stopped wearing shorts and t-shirts because I was afraid of what people would think about my skinny legs and arms. At that time, I really wanted to put on some weight so I started eating high calorie food. But it was not healthy food at all. It was cake and Ice-cream. After one or two months with bad food I stopped. I wasn’t gaining weight, and the bad quality food just made me so lazy and tired.
The other boys kept growing and I got more depressed with my body. At that time, my cousin trained a lot, and I saw him gaining a lot of muscle. I was impressed, and motivated to do the same. The summer holiday started and I made an agreement with myself. I would train every other day, the hole summer. I quickly fell in love with training and started seeing results. I kept training at home and joined the local gym after the holiday. I learned a lot about fitness and bodybuilding by watching famous bodybuilders and YouTube. I had become addicted to training. I trained together with my best friend Holger every day after school. We both became stronger and started talking a lot about bodybuilding. In the 9th grade it went a little too far. I don’t think there was a single day where we did not think about fitness and bodybuilding, or getting bigger… and I think that was what cost me the injury in my back. It just hit me like a train and I could not train anymore. I was so sad about it and really frustrated by myself. All my energy, size and strength started flying away from me. My back was so messed up that I could not even walk normally unless it hurt.
