Berto is standing on a station and he wants to go to Hackney because that is where Cathy lives. But he can’t find the station on the map. He wants to ask someone for help but he can’t get himself together to ask. He doesn’t know who he should ask, because there’s so many different people around him. He decides to ask someone before the next station.
Euston:
It’s about Denise standing in a train, she got a man looking at her, and she doesn’t like it. So she’s looking down, and trying to ignore it. The man was dark skinned with black hair, she would have found him attractive if it was in another situation. She thinks that the man probably could be a rapist.
Tufnell Park.
Archway:
Berto is still trying to find Hackney on the map but without luck. He always tells himself he will ask the girl at the next stop. But he never asks her. When he took of his headphones a voice was asking him how to buy a loaf of bread.
Highgate:
The girl feels that the man is after her. She decides to go off the train at the next station even tough that it’s not the station she’s going to, but she have to get away from the man. When the train stopped and the doors opened she ran. She ran until she got up to the ticket collector. She turned around and looked for the man, but she was alone. She didn’t know what to do She wouldn’t move and take the next step because every place could be a mistake and she would probably get killed or raped.
