It was dark and rainy outside. The wind made the tree branches scratch against the windows.
Sarah sat by the fire in her and her boyfriend, Jacob’s apartment when she heard a sound from outside the front door. She turned her head towards the door, the person outside was trying to come in. Sarah tried to call Jacob. It went straight to voicemail.
The person outside started to bang on the door. Sarah tried to call Jacob again. It still went straight to voicemail.
The banging wouldn’t stop so Sarah saw no other option than to go and open the door. It might just be Jacob who had forgotten his keys. Suddenly her phone rang, it was Jacob. Sarah asked where he was and he told her that he had stopped to get some food and that he was on his way home now. She told him to hurry.
Sarah wouldn’t worry him about the weird person outside the door, she would just wait until he came home.
The light in the apartment started to flicker. Things were getting really creepy now, Sarah thought to herself.
The banging on the door kept going on so Sarah decided to go and open up. Her heart was beating faster than ever as she walked towards the door.
