First I will give you an introduction what Netflix is.
Then I will tell about its history and how it became the greatest streaming platform in the world. I will compare Netflix with the free tv and other streaming platforms to explain why I thing Netflix is best. At last I will give my opinion on the future of free tv and steaming platforms.
So what is Netflix: It’s an online streaming platform for movies and tv shows. You can choose between many categories of films so that every one will find something he is interested in. In Germany you can choose between 3000 different films and tv shows. That means if you now started wathing non stop it would take you 8 months to see all films.
Neftlix didn’t always have so many films. When they were foundet in 1997 they only hat 925 films you could choose between. Also, they didn’t offer online streaming but they were sending the DVDs to their users per mail.
Later the dvd players got cheaper and Netflix got many more users. In 2002 they then entered the stock market because the things went so well.
