Less than a year after queen Victorias birth her father Edward, Duke of Kent died from pneumonia. Leaving her to be raised by her mother. Her mother was ready to rule alongside her daughter if the uncle died before Vitoria turned 18. Therefore, she used a strict code for discipline. Known as Kensington System
