I chose London because it is a city with so many astonishing attractions as well as countless sides, charming neighborhoods, and diverse cultures. Plus, I love the English way of speaking.
My teen guide was so lovely, her name was Ivy. When I arrived, she immediately took me to all the good thrift shops in Notting Hill since it was a shared interest, one was called Lover’s Lane, it was such a terrific place with clothes from the 70s - 90s plastered all over the store, London has an amazing range of secondhand boutiques
She also took me to see the musical Hamilton on West End, I had never thought of going to see a musical before, but she made me go and I adored it highly. That is one of the many reasons having a teen guide is so beneficial, she pushed me out of my comfort zone and opened my eyes up for theater, I noticed that there is a much bigger audience for theater compared to Denmark, and many tourists come to London to experience the famous theatre scene.
Ivy invited me to her family’s Sunday roast, it is a British classic that I was so excited to try.
