'Kidulthood': Refleksion over ungdom og vold

In our last English class we saw a movie which is called Kidulthood. The movie shows us how a ghetto life in England is and which problems do the teens have. I can really imagine me the life as a criminal in a big city like London. It’s not so hard to become a criminal. You just need to be poor and get some bad boys as friends. The news shows us many examples about what a human is able to do for a little bit of money. But are those people guilt at all that what is happening to them? It’s a difficult question, but like the rapper Jay-Z said in his rap song “Hard knock life” that its truth that they have a hard life but if they want they can go out from the ghetto environment and become famous like the rapper Jay-Z did or least become a normal life like other people. The movie Kidulthood shows us also that violence isn’t the right way to solute problems. Someone can every time become damaged or worst way will the offer be murdered because of some little bet or just to be cool and show the others that he is powerful. I think that the makers of the film Kidulthood want to teach us that we shall do something before it’s too late like it was for the girl who committed suicide and Trife who died at the end. The adults shall listen to their children. They shouldn’t ignore them. help them when they need help. Just become good friends with their children. But it’s not only parent’s responsibility it’s also children’s responsibility to become a good future, good friends who they can trust. I think they want to tell us that if you want something which you think is impossible for you to get then you shall only work hard for it and at the end you will get it without some problems.
