Absent is about a young man and his mother. The young man has lately slided away from his mother in London, and into the drug related environment. It concerned his mother, but she could not do much because he was an adult. But still if she knew he was at a party she would stay up waiting for her son to come home.
On a Monday night he was at a party, he have had a lot of alcohol and drugs, and the party first stopped when the last standing person went cold on drugs.
