The texts I have read are articles about the British reality show Boys and Girls Alone, written by the managers of the show, parents of the participants, Senior Lecturer in Psychotherapy and the freelance writer specializing in television, cinema, music and James Donaghy. The reality show has received a great deal of criticism, but it doesn’t seem like the parents of the participants have a negative point of view about the show. In all three articles the authors give us their personal point of view about the reality show Boys and Girls Alone.

In the first article from The Times by Andrew Mackenzie, Head of Factual Entertainment of Channel 4, he emphasizes that no children were in danger during the experiment, that the parents could intervene, or say stop if the worst comes to the worst, and offshore that trained child chaperones were accessible during all the experiment. He also mentions that experts carefully chose the children and they would be able to handle the experience. But the Senior Lecture in Psychotherapy at Roehampton University, Dr Richard House disagrees with Andrew Mackenzie. Dr Richard finds the whole thing foolish, and he cannot see how any expert would let any child be a part of this experiment, which he thinks make the kids guinea-pigs. Audrey Scott, mother of TJ, a 11-years-old boy who took part in the show, that her son has not been damaged by the experiment at all, quite the contrary she says that she had found out that TJ is a behaved and adult kid, and she claims that he has actually grown doing the experiment.
