Teknologi B eksamensprojekt: Havet og elektronik

Resumé

We have been working on an exam project in subject technology, which is our final assignment in the subject. The head theme was water, and we had to pick between 4 subtopics: Rainwater, groundwater, Lakes and Rivers or the ocean. After a lot of thinking and pondering, we came to the decision that we wanted to work with the ocean. The first few weeks of the course we wondered a lot about what type of product we wanted to work with, and what we could possible end out with. Finally we made a description of our problem statement, and could move on to scoping the problem and coming up with different ideas for the product. When we had come up with some ideas, we had to explore the need of the product and how the market was, if maybe some of the ideas were already made.

After we had explored the market, we moved on to the construction work, which primary was occurred in the electric workshop. After having chosen the idea of our product, we made some different tests, where we first built the electric circuit, which we wanted to test, on the computer in a simulation program. When we the circuit worked as we wanted on the simulation program on the computer, we built the circuit in real life. After we had made enough tests and had achieved the right knowledge and understanding about our product idea, we made our final product, which we then wanted to test. The results of the test were unfortunately not good. It seemed that we had made some mistakes during the creation of our final circuit, because it didn’t work, even though it worked on the computer in the circuit simulation program.
