How do you think the media industry inflects on young people/teens ?

The media indsutry of course inflects alot on young people, because they wanna be and do what they see. The girls, wanna be like the models they see in the commercials, sexy, skinny, and beatiful, even though its almost never real. They can never look like that, its affecting them in a bad way, when they see the models. And try to be like them but cant, alot of the young girls gets low self esteem and that can eventually lead to suicide or physic problems. That has already happened alot, and is happening even more day by day. The boys, wanna be like the rappers they see in the media, with girls, money, cars and power. And that often makes them do illegal things, it is proven that alot of criminals started doing criminal actions because of the videos. Though they dont know that in most of the videos its rented girls, rented cars, rented houses. Its not real, but the producers makes people think that its real, and that's a huge problem. Because it really affects the young people alot. Older people now that its just ''a scam'' but younger people who dont know alot still havent figured that out. Then there is the commercials for example carlsberg and such. Everyone know's its unhealty to drink alchohol, but like in carlsbergs new commercials. They make a real fun situation with alot of people that are having it fun social, and then they place the carlsberg beer, and when young people look at that. They think they have to drink to get friends, or have to drink to have a social life, but that's not true at all. You can have alot fun without drinking or anything but the media is trying to say that you cant have fun without example drinking. Because they wanna make money. Thats all its about. Then there are the so called ''good commercials'' from the state. Where they advertise against drinking, and against smoking. In that way the media can also help young people and inflect them in a good way.
