The city of Springfield has chosen to open a new charter school and it is the first charter school in the city. There are more than 5,000 charter schools serving more than 1.5 million children distributed in 39 States and the District of Columbia.

The school in the town of Springfield are arranging an open house event February the 5.th at Springfield High School, 101 Lewis Street, Springfield, Ill. Here, Adam Robinson will make a speech in which he will tell a little about charter schools.

Charter schools are not subject to some rules or controls as all other public schools. The school is a free innovative school, which is designed by the teachers, parents and civil leaders.

The school has several learning methods and have developed different teams for the students. It is known that different students learn at various ways, and therefore charter schools have chosen to keep special attention to that. There exist 3 teams. The first team is for students who have a special interest in sports. The second is for students who have concentration problems. The third team is for students who are mentally unbalanced.At the event professor Adam Robinson will also express his opinion about the American education system, and why we should choose to study at a charter school. There will also be an opportunity to meet and talk with teachers from a charter school. If you have any questions, the teachers will be happy to answer all of them.
