Ireland is divided into two parts – Notheren Ireland (still part of UK), and republic of Ireland. The capital city of Notheren Ireland is Belfast. The capital city of Republic of Ireland is Dublin. Some say that Dublin is not the capital city of Republic of Ireland, that Cork is. Cork was found by Danish Vikings when they attacked Ireland. In that time (800-1000) Ireland was a highly cultured island divided into five kingdoms. In 1969 was an catholic underground army called the IRA ( Irish Republican Army) build as an armed politic party. The people who became victims didn’t do anything wrong other that believing in the “wrong” religion, meaning that Catholics killed protestants. If you wish too explore Irish’s biggest national festival, St. Patrick's day, so u need to visit this beautiful country around 17march. Or else is it best to travel to Ireland in mid June/ July when the nature is most beautiful and when the most events are hold. It's said that Ireland, once visited, is never forgotten. Although Ireland is home to only five million people, the island's influence in the world far exceeds its size...
