Abstract The study investigates what quint of role the family has in the late modern society. The Danish society has changed significantly over the years, and so has the family. We are no longer dependent on the family, therefore we have opportunity to pick and choose. The nuclear family has changed significantly, and more divorces and the single culture have arisen. People dreams about the one and only, but the person has to be perfect.
