This study explores the conflict between Palestine and Israel with its main focus on the establishment of the Israeli state and the different approaches towards it. This study discusses some of the implications it had on the primeval population of the territory. Consequently, this study includes an analysis of the novel ''Mornings in Jenin'' by Susan Abulhawa in order to examine the family's affiliation to the territory they live in. Moreover, the analysis of Mornings in Jenin has been done to illustrate the developments a family living in the area as a result of the conflict. To study the establishment of the Israeli state, two sources have been used: an Arabic and a Jewish source. Both sources have a different view on the conflict. This study contains different views on the Pa-lestinian and Israeli conflict to create an impartial study which hopefully will lead the reader to create their own opinion about the conflict.
