Ray (Raymond Bronson) is her ex-boyfriend who have moved to California, her father is dead, so it’s only her and her mother, she got accepted into her mom’s old college called Smith, she have been dating a boy called Bud for a little while now, her mother was a teacher before her marriage.

She started to take school more seriously and stopped her cheerleading, she began to read more books instead. She is also heartbroken because of the broke up with Ray.

Names of famous colleges in USA: Yale, Harvard and Stanford.

I think she either killed someone or maybe stolen something.

Chapter 2:

I think Barry Cox seems a bit mysterious because he has a girlfriend, but he’s still going on a date with another girl. Otherwise he also seems trustworthy because he hasn’t told anyone about his pact with Helen and Julie to anybody else.

We find out that Julie has a pact with Barry and Helen, with not telling anybody about what happened last summer. Julies ex-boyfriend Ray also knows what happened, Barry blames Ray for sending the letter to Julie as some kind of joke. They also repaired a car, painted it and then sold it.
