Summer sun is a story written by Peter Andrews. Summer sun is a story about a group of three friends and a

boy called Simpson. The story takes a turn when three friends, decides to go at Simpson’s house and force

him to walk away with them. Simpson are afraid of the three boys, because they harass him in a bad way,

and tries to kill him. The genre of this story is novelle and young adult literature.

In this novelle the narrator is a 11-year-old boy, he has two friends named Morgan and Hass. The narrator is

kind of aggressive and violent. He lives with his mom and dad, the dad is also aggressive and violent against

the narrator.

As I construe, I think that the anger issues of the narrator’s dad may affect the narrator as well. He speaks a

bad language, he cusses. E.g. “His nose was bloodied, and it had stained the front of his shirt. It was a very

bright red” (p. 3; II. L. 120-121)

In this phrase it shows us, that the narrator is observant and pays attention to details. This also reflects the
