Young person of the year Joel Davis Today I have interviewed Joel Davis who won the ''Young person of the year'' price in 2014. Joel told me that he lives in Islington in London. His mother had been a drug addict all her life and he didn’t know his father. ''I had a very difficult childhood. I was surrounded by people who had both parents, which made me feel different.'' he says. His family was poor and he struggled in school and was always bullied because he couldn’t read, the teachers ignored the bullying and didn’t help him at all,
