Abstract:

This paper is a short statement of three concepts before a bigger analysis of the novel the african farm (1937) by the danish writer Karen Blixen. The novel shows how important and inspiring writer she was in the way she wrote with passion for the nature, the animals and her life in Africa. But also how her self presentation still the day today has an important meaning for how you dedicate yourself to the outside world. The set of values for her in the book is destiny and how quickly life can change in another direction than you expected. The linguistic is very epic descriptive and draws the reader to feel the same as she had felt, when she was on the farm herself. One of the biggest reason why she wrote the book was to tell and experience everything from the beginning to the end, one more time herself.
