I have chosen this topic because I like Rihanna and when I was younger I was a fan of her. I have heard her music, right from the start, and then I just thought that it would be interesting to find out some more about her.
Who is she?
Her name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, she was born 20 February 1988, and she is today 20 years old. She is a singer, songwriter, business women and an actor. As a kid, she was listening to reggae music and she began singing when she was seven years old.
Her hometown is Bridgetown but she is born in Saint Michael. Her parents are Ronald and Monica Fenty and they are divorced. Her mother is from Guyana and her father has Irish descent. She also has two younger brothers Rorrey and Rajad Fenty.
Childhood.
Rihanna's childhood has been very affected by her father's abuse of alcohol and cocaine. Rihanna had a lot of headaches as a child and it could be because of her father's smoking. When they were at the doctor he said that it was very intense and he even thought that it was a tumor. But when her Parents got divorced, she also got better.
