Each morning starts up with my alarm clock going off, blinking and vibrating at 6.30 am, and it doesn't go away until I get enough energy to start looking around under the pillow to find the button, that turns it off.

And to be honest, being woken up from a deep sleep, by vibrations rattling your head, and a flashlight blinding you, is one of the worst feelings in the world, but hey, it wakes me up, so…

Like every other teenage girl, I know, I love my phone! The first thing I do when I wake up, is checking my phone, mostly to see if anyone had written to me, or if I had missed anything from the night before. Texting is a crucial way of communicating for me, and I think that teenagers, well at least teenage girls, text all the time, whether they have hearing issues or not…

School:

Unlike most teenagers my age, I don't go to an awfully public school or college, I go to Blanche Nevile School of London, which is a school 'made' specifically for deaf children, from the age of three to the age of eighteen, well the school is divided into Primary and Secondary years, Primary is from age three (or in my case 5) to 14, and Secondary is from age 15 to 18 . So, when people ask me what year I'm in, I don't really know, I mean, I know that i have about 1,5 years left, but I've been going to this school since I was 5 although the Primary and Secondary schools are different buildings, it's still the same name. If I was to compare it to 'normal' school, I think I would be in year 12? Honestly, I don't know, I'm just guessing…
