Have you ever heard the cry of Mary from The Scottish Castle up on the hill? Yes? Well, let me tell you the story of her sad life.

Mary was born in the early 1800. She was the bastard child of the Duke and his lover, who was beheaded shortly after Mary’s birth. Her mother had the looks of an angle, with raven black hair, and skin so fair, that even the snow was envy. Her father was a man of great power, and was loved by his people. But Mary. Mary who was oh so sweet. She lived her whole life in the shadow of hate, by her father, his legal wife and the people. The only love she got was for her Nanny. Mary had her mother's raven hair and fair skin, but she was born with the mark of the devil. Over her right eye was a big deep black star. That was the reason for her mother’s death, because she was said to be a witch who got pregnant with Satan’s child.

Mary’s faith was to die with her mother, but nothing could pierce her skin, and nothing could break her fragile little neck, no fire could hurt her, and the water seemed to avoid her. Therefore she was instead locked inside the deepest darkest part of the castle, and was only allowed out in the garden in the night of the full moon.
