It was 7.00 am. I’d just opened my eyes. I woke up by the shrill sound from my alarm clock. I felt kind of sick that day, but I had an important meeting at the World Trade Center at 9 am.
I laid in bed for about 20 minutes. I was tired that day too. I rose after a little while, and I got ready. I ate some breakfast. 2 pancakes with sugar, a piece of bread with ham and a glass of orange juice to be exact. I had the time to make a fancier breakfast.
I was ready to leave the house and I just did what I’ve always did. I tied my shoes, putted on my jacket, turned off all the lights in the house, closed and locked the door and drove away in my car. Pretty normal and simple, but that day, the 11th September 2001, I did the same thing as usual, but the day went a lot different.
I was in my car, driving to the supermarket, because I thought I could shop a couple things before my meeting.
At 8.33 am I was done with shopping. I went back to my car again and I drove ahead the street up to the World Trade Center. The traffic lights didn’t work that day, so I was afraid to be late.
