Think before you drink

Lot’s of plastic bottles are thrown away out in our nature on a daily  basis. 

he  plastic  has  taken  over  our  world  in  the  last  couple  of  years.  We  use  it  everywhere,  and  we  can’t get enough of it.  We  use  it  in  bottles,  clothes  even  our  toothpaste,  and  it  comes  in  different  sizes.  A  lot  of  the  plastic  we  produce  doesn’t  get  recycled  and  ends  up  in  the  ocean.  The  problem  is  that  plastic  is  durable,  so  it  takes  hundreds  of  years  for  a  plastic  bottle  to  break  down.  So  when  we  buy  a  bottle  of  water,  we  usually  don't think of the fact  that  we  are  contributing  to  the  enviro­  nmental  damage,  that  the  plastic  industry causes.    Killing our nature  When  we  are  talking  about  plastic  bottles,  they  play  a  bigger  role  in  the  environment  than  we  can  imagine. 

Because  the  bottles  emiss  around  2.500.000  tons of carbon dioxide in the  atmosphere  a  year.  That’s  a  big  prob­  lem,  because  of  the  climate  changes  we  are  experiencing  now  and  later  in  our  lives.  The  plastic  production is bad  for  the  environment  in  every  way.  Some  of  the  things  that  are  causing  problems  is  the  giant  oil  usage  when  plastic  bottles  are  made.  Actually  in  the  plastic  produktion  they  are  using  enough oil to run 500.000 cars.    The  plastic  people  throw  in  the  nature  often  ends  up  in  the  ocean,  and  it’s  causing  big  problems,  like  pollution  and  changes  in  our  ecosystems.  Lot’s  of  animals  are  dying  caused  by  plastic  and oil pollution.
