En dag i København: turistguide

I’m really excited about you guys visiting me here in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. I have planned an all day tour for you. I think it’s the best, if we take busses from place to place, because that’s faster than walking. But now, let’s get to business. First we are going to see Rundetårn, that is a 41,55 meters high tower. It’s located in Købmagergade, the centrum of Copenhagen. I personally think that it has an exciting history, because it was built by the deceased Danish king Christian 4. I’ll tell you much more about it when we get there. So after visiting Rundetårn we are going to visit The Little Mermaid statue, that is one of the most famous attractions in Copenhagen. It’s illustrating the famous writer Hans Christian Andersen’s tale The Little Mermaid. It was placed permanently on Langelinie the 23rd of August 1913. I will take you there cause trust me, you will love it! After The Little Mermaid I would like to take you to Amalienborg Castle. It’s one of Denmark’s castles that is occupied by the royal family. Actually it’s the place where Queen Margrethe 2. is making her speech at New Year’s Eve. It’s a really beautiful castle, and I think that you’ll totally agree with me. After all the three attractions I think it’s time to have some fun. Therefore we are going to Tivoli, that is Denmark’s best amusement park in my opinion. You should totally try my two favourite amusements; Dæmonen (The Demon) and Monsunen (The Monsoon). I think that we should stay in the park until the closing hour, that is at midnight. That means that we are going to eat dinner in there, and I think that we should eat at the famous restaurant Grøften. It’s a Danish restaurant, where you can only eat Danish food. You can fx try their famous dish skipperlabskovs, that is my personally favourite. It’s sliced meat browned with onions, poured with soup and boiled with mashed potatoes and spices. I think it’s gonna be a really nice day and I hope, that you will love Copenhagen as much as I do. Have a nice trip!
