It was a sunny day in Pompeii. I was walking home from the library after reading about the holy volcano in Pompeii. How it keeps us safe from and what we do to make it keep us safe. I was 1 mil away from my home when I heard something. It was a loud “BANG!!” I got scared and ran as fast as I could home. Two days after I heard the loud “BANG!” again and the floor was shaking. I thought it was an earthquake, so I just ran stayed in my bed, but on 5 or 10 minutes later the loud “BANG!!” came again. At that moment I got really scared. I ran over to my table and crawl under the table. It was trying to look out of the window. I could see the sky turning gray and a big stone flying towards the city and hear a lot of screaming outside. They were running away. The stone hit the ground and it gave a loud explosion. The house next to ours was destroyed because of the stone. A man was screaming “COME THIS WAY, EVERYBODY”. I tried to run out and over to the man, but I couldn’t see him anywhere. I ran away from the fire and I was looking for him. Then he saw me, ran over to me and took me in my hand and ran over to the others. I saw the city get burned down to dust and almost everyone was dead. The lava was everywhere in the city and I was crying. When we were far away, we stopped. I was looking for my mom and dad. The man told me that they never made it. They were dead.
