The 24 April 79 the 1300 meters high Vesuvius were erupting. 7 years before that, in 72, there had been an earthquake, and when people felt the ground under there feet began to shake they just toured that it was a little earthquake again. But it wasn't, it was a volcanic eruption of Vesuvius. 24 hours after the people in the city's close to Vesuvius felt the ground shaking, the city Pompeii and Herculaneum were covered whit 2,5 Meters ash.
