Thank you so much for the tickets to Adele’s concert, it was such an amazing experience.
The best first concert I could ever imagine, even though I was there alone. The evening started off with the taxi picking me up at 8:30 pm. The drive to the UK took a little longer than expected because of a car crash, I believe, but I arrived at the concert just in time anyways. I ran to the gate, afraid that I might have not made it in time, and gave the security my ticket. After making sure the ticket wasn’t fake, they let me in. The place was huge and filled up with people, screaming and laughing. I went up-front and waited for the concert to begin. A few minutes later, the time was 10:00 pm, and the concert could begin. I remember screaming for excitement, when Adele came out and said “are you ready?”. They started off with the song “Someone Like You”, my all time favourite.
About mid-ways through the concert, a guy pushed me away and took my place, I was furious. I grabbed him in his shoulder and turned him around, but apparently he didn’t recall doing anything he shouldn’t do, so he just said “dude! What the heck?”, I did not want to reply, so I just pushed him behind me, and got my place back. After a few minutes of this guy cursing at me, he eventually walked away, and my evening could continue. I bought a glass of beer from the stand to my left, and started singing along to the song “Hello”. Even though most of Adele’s songs are slow and kind of sad, I was dancing like crazy, I just couldn’t help it, I was too happy to stand still. Suddenly a girl put her arm around me and started swinging from left to right, I just joined her. A few minutes later, the whole front row was swinging from left to right, it was so funny. Someone in the audience actually started a wave, I wasn’t really sure what to do, but I think I did alright.
