Hey guys I really want to talk about teenage crime. Shockingly a very big percentage of crimes now a days are made by teenagers. Some of the crimes how ever are not as bad as others. Let us take Stealing. If you ask almost every teenager if they ever have stolen something almost every single one of them would say yes. it does not need to be a huge and expensive thing it can be as simple as a pack of gum. But why do they do it is it because it’s cool and bad ass to brag about stealing to your friends, or maybe it is just fun because then you are doing something that illegal you automatically feel cooler while doing it? Almost everyone has heard the phrase “the rules are made to be broken”. And I may think that then you are a teenager you are in that time of life where you just want to protest everything and just live your life and have fun. It is the only explanation I see that explains why so many teens do it.
As there are smaller crimes there are also the bigger crimes like rape. Opposite to stealing usually the assaulter does not admit to the crime. It is one of the crimes I really do not understand. It makes me so mad thinking that some teenagers do not understand a “no” for an answer and are so egoistic that they can be capable of sexually assaulting other human beings. But it is not because teenagers are bad people. I see a big problem in the society. I see a problem in the way adults teach their children and the way some boys treat girls. For example, when a girl is raped, some people have the audacity to say “don’t you see the cloths she was wearing? She asked for it” like come on, one is asking to be raped. I really think that we need to be teaching people to see differently on the problem. I think that the only way to prevent the assaults is to get the society to change. Too many teenage boys are treating girls as object with no feelings, and I don’t blame them for doing it because it’s not their fault that they were automatically learned to do it.
