I went to England to be specific Manchester. I was staying at whitwoth hotel, which isn’t to far away from both old Trafford and Etihad stadium. Which is the home stadiums of the 2 rival clubs Manchester city and Manchester united.

my guide’s name is James he is 17 years old. James has lived in Manchester he’s whole life, he knows Manchester inside out. He is a supporter of Manchester united.

on one of the days, I was there my guide took me to a Manchester united game, I was so lucky that it was a match between the two rivals Manchester city and Manchester united on old Trafford. Before the match James took me to this pub where Manchester united fans are located, he says that it is a tradition to go there before and after the match. It means good luck for the club they believe. So we are just sitting there and having a great time, with some beers. And all of a sudden, I just start hearing this loud noise it sounds like a lot of people screaming and singing. Then I look out of the window, and I see this huge crowd of Manchester united fans walking the streets. Then one of the guys said ‘its time to go lads’ I asked james what’s going on, he answered well you didn’t think we were going to the match alone did you. He explained that when united are playing home games they always walk together to the stadium. So we went to with the crowd. It was just crazy, everywhere I looked I saw red shirts and people screaming, it was like they all knew each other, one man even came up to me and took his arm around me and started singing me in the face. He didn’t even know me but for them it doesn’t matter as long they se a united shirt they accept one like it was family.
