A day in the life of Ali

Local people have always told stories about how refugees feel when theyhave come to

the country and in this article we will see a refugee boy who has fled from Afghanistan.

Ali’s story

Ali is from Afghanistan, and he fled to England. His parents are still in their home country because they couldn´t come out of the country. He fled with his grandma and when he came to England It was difficult for him to be a part of the society.

He fled from Afghanistan because his parents didn´t want him to die. They wanted him to get a better life in England. The meaning was that the parents, him and his Grandma was going to England together, but his parents couldn´t get out of the country because The government would not accept it.

To be a part of the society

It was really hard for him to be a part of the society. He was feeling lonely and sad. He missed his parents and he wanted to see them again.

Every day he was scared because he didn’t know about his parents situation. It was difficult for him to learn English.

He was getting better and better in English and he got friends. When he was in the park and think he met some new friends and they asked him to play with them. They found out that he was good to play football and in this way he got more friends. After four years he got contact with his parents and he was not scared anymore. He didn't have his trauma anymore and he was hoping he could meet his parents soon.
