Gordon James Ramsay was born the 8th November 1966 in Johnstone in Scotland and is a British chef.
When he was young, he tried to become a professional football player, but he got a knee injury.
And when he was 19, he decided to become a chef.
He has 5 kids, 3 girls named Elizabeth, Megan and Holly and 2 boys named Oscar and Jack.
Overall career
He stopped with football and tried to join the police and the army but with no luck.
After he gave cooking a chance and he really fell in love with it.
Being chef was now his new dream and he promised himself that he wouldn’t fail like he did with football.
He begins working in a handful of eateries until he landed a position running the kitchen at The Wykeham Arms.
Ramsay and the owner’s wife hated each other, and he left.
Ramsay worked in London a bit but, he saw that the food in London was all about the money and not quality.
So, he wanted to work at a place he could learn from.
Inspired from Marco Pierre’s success Ramsay called him op for a job.
At first, he wanted to have nothing to do with Ramsay, but later he gave Ramsay a chance.
