Shrek 2, filmanalyse

Shrek 2 is the second movie in the Shrek-trilogy. The story in the first movie is about the beautiful princess Fiona, and how she is trapped in a tall tower guarded by a big dragon. But the ogre, Shrek, comes and rescues her, and just like in every fairytale, the get each other. But the Shrek movies aren’t like any other fairytale, because even though they get each other in the end, it’s not how you imagine it’ll be. Because you find out that the beautiful Fiona, is actually an ogre just like Shrek.

And that’s about where Shrek 2 begins. The story begins when Shrek and Fiona arrives at the swamp, where they live, and get a message from Fiona’s parents. They want Fiona and Shrek to come to their kingdom “far far away” to a great party. At first Shrek says no, but Fiona persuades him. They travel in many days, and Shrek’s friend, from the first movie, Donkey joins them. At the time they finally get to Far Fat Away, everyone is choked. They thought Fiona would be a beautiful princess married to prince Charming. Especially Fiona’s father is choked, and hires a hit man to get rid for Shrek, so that Fiona can marry Charming. But not everything goes the way it should, when fairy godmothers, potions, cats in boots and huge cookies get involved.
