The Egyptian Cat

It was a normal day, like every other. The museum guard Gerald, walked around, checking if everything were on its place, before opening. The museum was messy, because the night before, a firm had been delivering an old Egyptian jewel. The firm always made a mess, and Gerald had already called their supervisor, and made a complain. He had a ton of work to do, because the museum was drowning in mess, so Gerald was stressed. In luck, he heard his co-worker Claire open the backdoor, and rushed out to tell her, that they really need to get a move on, before all the customers enter. But in a mysteries way, there were no Claire. KLING, Gerald heard and ran into the museum to check what was happening. He didn’t find anything but a customer banging on the front door. It was time to open up. He opened the doors and apologized for the mess to the early customers. An hour after opening, he heard a woman scream, and saw people run away from there. He of course called security and ran there himself. He found a woman sitting in a corner crying, and the museum pet cat running away all fluffed up. The woman crying was yelling that there was a hairless big cat, wheezing at people. Gerald never heard about a hairless big cat before, so he of course tried to hunt it down. Gerald’s plan was going where people were running from, so in the end he would hopefully find these mysteries hairless beast. But before Gerald was far, Claire grabbed onto him, and told him to stop. Gerald didn’t understand, because he checked Claire’s shifts, and she didn’t have any before next week. Claire started mumbling random annoying words, and Gerald heard it as really bad Arabic. He took a quick course on Arabic on YouTube a few weeks back, but he couldn’t translate it either way. Gerald told Claire to take the day off, and Claire just stared at him. He ran on, in an attempt to catch this creature.
