The search for happiness is a happy tale about the struggle to achieve the American dream.The search for happiness is inspired by a true story, which makes the movie very realistic and real. We sympathize with Chris Gardner, soiled of Will Smith, in his struggle to achieve happiness as a good family dad. The film takes place in early 80erne. Chris (Will Smith) works as a vendor outside the big success. Chris knew not even his own father, so he is determined to do everything in his power to show his own Sunday Christopher (Jaden Smith) that he loves him all over the planet. Therefore Chris decides to switch to career. He will try to get a job as a stockbroker. He goes in unpaid internship with 19 other candidates who, like himself fighting for space with stock broking firm. His wife is extremely displeased with Chris' new career, and she chose to leave the little family. Bills passes through the letter slot, and it ends with the father and son being evicted, but even then it looks most bleak, struggling Chris ahead with a irrepressible optimism. And ends with great success in his own company, and is today millionaire.
