The French

The French people live in France... Well most of them. There's also some who live in The Caribbean, St Pierre et Miquelon (near Canada), Iles Marquises (in the Pacific Ocean), Iles de Karguelen (in the Indian Ocean), Iles Wallis, and so on, and so on. They come in all shapes and colours. Depending on where they originated from. And that's also one of the reasons why you see so many coloured people on the French football national team. But they all have two things in common. First they all have French passports, and second they all have French as their official language. French people are good at many things, one of them is cooking. They love to eat, and they'll eat nearly everything. Some things may sound strange to some, like frog legs, snails and cow stomach. But it actually tastes really nice (I tried it myself). One of the reasons they eat so many odd things, is that they're just geniuses at preparing them. They can make nearly everything taste delicious. They also find many ways to cook the food, like setting it on fire. They're also good at building big meaningless buildings, like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph. Sometimes they build so many big things, that they don't know what to do with them. So they give them to other countries. Like the Statue of Liberty, which they gave to the USA. A long time ago they had a king. But then they got tired of him, so they chopped his head off, and since that day they've had a president. Another thing the French are really good at, is football. They won the European Championship in 84' and 2000, and the World Cup in 98', where they smashed Brazil 3-0. They're also known for their cars, like Peugeot, Renault and Citroën.
