We are on a trip or journey to Louisiana in the year is 1935 (nineteen thirty-five). We are sitting in a jazz bar in the biggest city of Louisiana, New Orleans. We are enjoying a drink while we hear the jazz songs who are played by the famous Jazz singer, Louis Armstrong. Many different people from around the world especially Europe travelled to New Orleans or Louisiana in the 1900th hundred, to hear the sounds of jazz.
We are now finished with our drink, and we decide to go to the French Quarter in New Orleans. The French Quarter is a beautiful and the oldest neighbourhood in New Orleans. The French people build all of the houses in the Quarter when they first arrived in New Orleans in 1718.
After our time in the French Quarter, we are going to the National Guard Museum of Louisiana. In the museum we can hear about the history of Louisiana, how the French king, Louis the 14th, claimed the land and named it after himself. Also, how the Native Americans lived in Louisiana but were killed or chased by the French. You can also hear about the American civil war were Louisiana was one of the thirteen states who broke out of the union in 1861.
