It was an early afternoon, some of my friends came over to my party. Peter showed me his new moped, it was very fine, he said it could run over 100 km/h, almost 135 he said. He had also painted it by himself, it was like a new car he had painted it in so many different colours. Later that evening he asked me if I had some spray cans, because then we could have some fun.
I asked him what he wanted to paint, and he said: “Some of the cars in the street.” I said to him that it wasn’t legal, but he didn’t care. Some weeks after that Peter asked me again about the spray cans, and I said to him that I did have some, but I didn’t know were, and we looked for them, and found them, I said to him that we could go to an old slaughterhouse and paint. When we got there on our mopeds, I was a bit scared of doing it. But he said to me that I shouldn’t be afraid, he had tried it so many times before and he had never been caught, but it could happen. When we have been there for some hours and we have been painting, I heard something out side, I looked out the window. I said to Peter that it was the police, we threw our spray cans, and ran but they caught us on the way out, I said to him that it was our last day. The policemen took us to the station, where we got a fine on 500 £ each. For me it was not so bad, it was almost 2 month of work. And for Peter it was very bad because he didn’t have a work, so he had to scrounge by his parents, and they were not happy about that. Later that year we did the same again but not in our own town, we took the bus to Ugertown.
