Chappie the artificial intelligence, who downloaded organic intelligence
Resume:
The movie is about a guy called Deon that created these types of robotic super soldiers which the police bought. Then one of the so-called super soldiers is damaged beyond repair in a brawl between some South American gangsters and the police. And while all this was happening was Deon creating a software that contained artificial intelligence. Then Deon inserts the chip with the software into the damaged robot, and out comes Chappie. But then some gangsters steal Chappie and raises him as their own gangster robot. At the end Chappie and his group get into a fight with an angry engineer and another gangster group.
The main character is off course Chappie. We also have Chappie’s creator Deon. “his parents” Yolandi and Ninja. There is also his friend, American homes, and the bad guy Vincent who created the moose.
In Chappie we have different themes such as: science, crimes, jealousy, future and friendship. I believe that the moral of the story is “be careful what you wish”. I believe that Deon wished to create AI (artificial intelligence), but if he just listened to his boss, all the bad stuff wouldn’t have happened. Like Deon being shot, and the company’s ban.
