Abstract
There has been such a change in house prices. In this project, we go back to 1992 to see how the economic situation once used to be in house prices. We could say that the owners have just had positive changes all these years. Now the economic situation is very pessimistic. The house prices are falling and it is very difficult to see changes for the better in the coming next years. The prices are now fluctuating, especially in the capital area. Generally, house prices are falling. There are many theoretical reasons of why the house prices are declining. In the project, I analyse the economic factors that have a high influence on the marketplace. There is also an analysis of the factors that determine the house prices. After that we get into the owners life. I take a closer look at social and cultural features that characterise the house owners.
